Saturday 7th November 2015
9.45am to 12.45pm
Grantchester Village Hall

“Let your imagination stroke you from within” Ruthie Alon

Following the success of the midsummer retreat, we again meet in Granchester’s beautiful village hall for a morning away from the everyday.

We will explore using imagery to both inspire movement and to rest into stillness. Some of the images will be based on the ancient art of qigong which takes inspiration from the cycles and rhythms of the natural world. Other images will have a more contemporary feel. The images will be offered as suggestions and are open to modification and personalisation.

There will be a mix of movement (based on Pilates and Qigong), conversation and stillness. This will be blended with concepts and theory from a range of movement traditions, backed up with recent research, with time for sharing ideas and plenty of food for thought.

There will be the option of a trip to a local pub for lunch following the retreat.

No prior experience is necessary, all are warmly welcome. Come on your own or bring a friend. Payment can be made online (please email for bank details), by cheque (email for address) or regular attendees can bring to a weekly Pilates class. Email:
