Saturday 20th June 2015
9.45am to 12.30pm
Grantchester Village Hall

A gentle morning away from normal concerns, we meet in the village hall near Grantchester meadows and the river Cam.

The focus for the day will be “Finding your Rhythm”. We will use movement to explore both listening to and connecting with own inner rhythms and finding a home within the great rhythms of the nature.

“We shape our live from an internal compass, not those of the larger systems that govern us. Reorganising requires a deep listening to rhythms that are at once cosmic and far reaching and  at the same time intimately felt in our tissues.”
Richard Strozzi-Heckler

There will be a mix of movement (based on Pilates and Qigong), conversation and stillness. This will be blended with concepts and theory from a range of movement traditions, backed up with recent research, with time for questions and plenty of ideas to take home.

There will be an optional trip to the Orchard Tea Gardens for lunch after the retreat.

No prior experience is necessary, all are warmly welcome. Come on your own or bring a friend. Payment can be made online (please email for bank details), by cheque (email for address) or regular attendees can bring to a weekly Pilates class. Email:
